The Institute of Energy Efficiency and Sustainable Building (E3D) is a member of the ZIM network "very shallow geothermics and cold district heating 4.0" and regularly participates in the network meetings. In addition to an intensive exchange with small and medium-sized enterprises and other research institutions, the aim of this network is to integrate very shallow geothermal energy and cold district heating networks as technologies into future energy concepts. The first meeting took place on the 5th of February 2019 in Erlangen. Further meetings followed on the 6th of July 2019 also in Erlangen and on the 1th of October 2019 in Bad Nauheim. Contact person is the leader of the group energy in buildings and districts: Sebastian Weck-Ponten.
