Energy design of the Ginnheim headquarters as scenario-based guiding concept for the new buildings and renovation of the main building

The sustainable energy supply of buildings and districts with heat, cold and electricity requires holistic energy concepts taking dynamic boundary conditions into account. Not only does the question of central or decentralised energy supply arise, but also integrated energy supply variants with respect to sector coupling come to the fore. At the same time, user needs have to be taken into account, for example in connection with the indoor climate aspects of new working environments. The resulting high complexity of the planning task requires suitable adaptive methods and digital models in order to provide decision-makers with the best possible holistic information base - and thus guidelines for new building specifications and renovation measures. In this regard, building stock modifications of the Deutsche Bundesbank campus also cause new requirements for the existing energy design and its supply structures.
