Building Information Modelling

The age of the networks and digitization technologies like BIM and IoT are changing the value chain of the entire construction industry. The planning, construction and operation of buildings are complex activities with many related, internal and external individual processes that significantly influence the quality and profitability of the target product. The "BIM" group focuses on the analysis, research and implementation of integrated process chains with the aim of making buildings more efficient, more automated and more intelligent ("Smart Buildings"). In addition to computerized modeling, data analysis and simulation, the links of the architecture - technology and automation spheres are being examined. The results can be tested and validated in the field through a close link to the industry and through scientific monitoring of pilot projects.
