Inauguration of the test hall for Energy-Efficient Construction with subsequent scientific symposium "thermal comfort" on 14th of November 2018
On 14th of November 2018, the e3D together with the Institute for Energy Efficient Buildings and Indoor Climate (EBC) will open their new test hall for Energy-Efficient Construction. The Faculties of Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering have joined forces to build the experimental hall in order to expand their interdisciplinary research work and pool their expertise
The event starts at 10 a.m. with the official handover and greetings. The two institutes will then give an overview of the planned test facilities.
In the afternoon, the event will be followed by the scientific symposium "Thermal Comfort", which will be organized by the two institutes with the support of the Heinz Trox-Foundation. The day ends with the opportunity to visit the existing testing facilities.
