2022 Best Paper Award from Building and Environment
We are very pleased to announce that our paper titled “A guideline to document occupant behaviour models for advanced building controls„ has received one of the three 2022 Best Paper Awards from the prestigious international Journal “Building and Environment„ (BAE). The manuscript has been selected among 5500 submissions.
Occupants’ comfort and interaction with control systems must be considered for enhancing energy efficiency strategies for buildings. This can be achieved by including occupant behaviour models in the advanced control loops. However, this is a challenging task due to the lack of unified model standardization and clear documentation. To address this issue, this paper is proposing a guideline for a standardized occupant-behaviour model documentation.
